About St. Charles Community College

St. Charles Community College, located in the heart of St. Charles County, is easily accessible from I-70 and Hwy. 94 and via the Page Extension, is just a 15-minute drive from St. Louis County. Established in 1986, the college already has 7,000 credit students and more than 30,000 non-credit students. In its fourth expansion, SCC has won several awards for its innovative architecture and campus plan.One in four high school seniors in St. Charles County choose SCC as a smart start to their college education. For older adults, SCC offers Returning Learner Workshops to promote their success as they seek to upgrade their skills. SCC's Workforce Development Department benefits local companies by helping employers qualify for state training funds and providing customized training solutions. The college also serves as a key cultural arts center for the county, offering plays, musicals, art exhibitions, concerts, and community events, many of which are provided at low cost or free.
